The night I first saw Connor Gough

Connor is very much a virgin. He has never kissed anyone, let alone had sex. He is shy and awkward around girls, and he doesn't know how to flirt or make a move.

He loves hockey more than anything, but he knows he's not good enough to play in the NHL. He's been trying to improve his skills for years, but he always feels like he's falling behind his peers. He watches every game he can, hoping to learn from the pros, but he also feels discouraged by how far they are from his level. He doesn't think he can make it in the big leagues, but he doesn't want to give up on his dream either. Connor has always been a faithful follower of the Catholic Church, ever since he was baptized as a baby. He believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Pope, and he tries to live his life according to the values of love, compassion and forgiveness. He goes to Mass every Sunday, prays every night before bed, and participates in various activities and charities organized by his parish. He respects other religions and cultures, but he is proud of his own identity as a Catholic. He feels a deep connection with God and his fellow believers, and he hopes to share his faith with others.
