Connors First Day Of Grade 9

19/09/2023

Today was Connor's first day of grade 9 and boy, was it eventful! He woke up late, missed the bus, and had to run all the way to school. He arrived just in time for his first class, but he forgot his backpack at home. He had to borrow a pen and paper from his crush, who gave him a weird look. He tried to act cool, but he ended up spilling his coffee on her. He apologized profusely, but she just rolled her eyes and moved to another seat. He felt so embarrassed, he wished he could disappear.

The rest of the day didn't go much better. He got lost in the hallways, mixed up his schedule, and accidentally walked into the girls' locker room. He got chased out by a bunch of angry girls, who threw towels and shoes at him. He ran into the principal, who gave him detention for trespassing. He tried to explain what happened, but the principal didn't believe him. He said he had heard enough excuses from Connor over the years.

Connor finally made it to his last class, which was gym. He hoped he could redeem himself by showing off his skills. He joined a game of dodgeball, but he soon realized he was outmatched. The other kids were bigger, faster, and stronger than him. They pelted him with balls, hitting him in the face, stomach, and groin. He fell to the floor, groaning in pain. The gym teacher blew the whistle and told him to get up. He said he had seen enough of Connor's pathetic performance.

Connor limped out of the gym, feeling defeated. He wondered if his day could get any worse. He checked his phone and saw a text from his mom. She said she was sorry, but she had to work late and couldn't pick him up. He had to walk home by himself. He sighed and put his phone away. He hoped tomorrow would be a better day.
